Chief Technology Officer
John leads, develops, builds and manages all of our websites, systems and IT. He ensures the application process is tip-top for our customers.
He has 30 years of experience building and delivering credit risk and fraud decision making capabilities to lenders worldwide. John co-founded IRP (purchased by BlueZest), helping both lenders and credit bureaus to develop and enhance their data and decision capabilities.
Chief Risk Officer
Simon ensures we make the right decisions in the right way when it comes to credit risk and that we work with our customers responsibly.
He was Mortgage Risk Director and Deputy Chief Credit Officer at Santander. Previously Simon was Credit & Risk Director at Alliance & Leicester. He established his credit risk analytics expertise at Experian as UK Consultancy Services Director. He has an MA from Oxford.
COO & Chief Information Officer
Chris is responsible for delivering great customer service through all of our operations, processes, service delivery and how we use data.
With over 20 years of experience in exploiting credit and marketing data, Chris brings extensive experience of the automation of mortgage application processing and customer management. Chris was a founding partner at IRP (purchased by BlueZest). He is a Chartered Systems Engineer.
Director of Risk & Compliance
Sue uses her regulatory and governance experience to ensure we always do things the right way for our customers.
She has worked in financial services for over 25 years in a legal, compliance or risk capacity. She has held Director level and FCA approved positions, has extensive experience of lending, outsourcing, and governance.
Director of Funding
Robert ensures we have access to the right funding to provide great products and cost effective mortgages to our customers.
A founding member of BlueZest who manages its subsidiary, BlueZest Finance Limited. Rob entered banking in 1999 and developed a strong expertise in funding and refinancing of mortgage assets at Morgan Stanley, Bear Stearns and Investec Bank.
Lead Solution Developer
Richard builds our software so it works brilliantly for our customers.
He has been developing industry-leading software in financial services for 10 years. With a strong focus on data integrity and user experience. His software products span across payroll, pensions, tax, credit risk and decision analytics. Richard previously developed for IRP (purchased by BlueZest).
Quality & Testing Manager
Julie ensures all our technology works like it should, so customers have a straight forward application process.
She has worked in IT within the Financial Services sector for over 25 years and has experience of software development, quality assurance and delivery as well as programme management of large global software programmes.
Mark ensures we deliver our projects on time and to budget, so everyone is happy.
Mark has over 20 years of experience successfully delivering complex programmes/projects for the financial services/credit risk industry. He has held Senior Management roles with a FTSE100 financial services company, covering International and Domestic markets.
Partner Channel Manager
Clare works with our partners, to ensure they have all the tools and information they need to provide a great service to their clients.
Account Management has been Clare’s area of expertise in large organisations for over 17 years. She has experience in strategy, distribution and marketing through various channels.
Senior Mortgage Underwriter
Kieren meticulously assesses information on the customer and the property to make a sound judgment on lending risk, in line with our risk appetite within the confines of the lending policy.
He brings over 10 years of experience in financial services to the role. He has held both supervisory and managerial positions, working in the retail banking mortgage and protection team for the world’s largest building society, as well as within Santander’s Mortgage Division for the last 3 years. Kieren has extensive experience of recent mortgage advice, underwriting and process delivery. Kieren also has a BA from the University of Leicester.
Anum is responsible for ensuring the mortgage process runs smoothly for our customers and intermediary partners.
She has over 2 years of experience within Intermediary Support. She has previously worked for The Nottingham Building Society and is fully CeMAP qualified.
Mortgage Support Team Manager
Penny is responsible for ensuring the mortgage process runs smoothly for our customers and intermediary partners.
Her work in insurance and financial services has spanned over 25 years, holding roles in administration, sales, management, training and compliance and brings with her a wealth of experience across the whole financial services spectrum.
Karen ensures all our bills are paid on time – keeping the business running smoothly.
She has come from an independently owned HR software & services provider based in the East Midlands. She gained a wealth of commercial experience working through the ranks to Financial Accountant. "I see the Financial Services sector as a new challenge."

Shelly has worked within the financial industry for almost 12 years. She has experience in underwriting, strategy and risk, and property buying and selling.

He brings over 10 years of experience in financial services to the role, with extensive experience in Mortgage Advice and Compliance & Risk working for companies such as Virgin Money, Leeds Building Society and Mortgage Advice Bureau. Jamie also has a BA from Nottingham Trent University.
Ben is responsible for ensuring the mortgage process runs smoothly for our customers and intermediary partners.
He is the youngest member of our team but brings with him over 8 years of experience in customer services from a wide variety of business environments. Ben also has an BA in engineering from Newcastle University.
Steve is an experienced investor in financial services and mortgage lending, having been an investor and board member of Pepper Home Loans during their successful UK launch.
Jonathan was a senior executive at companies such as Bankers Trust, UBS, Bear Stearns, Rabobank, JP Morgan, Solent Capital Partners. He was an investor and board member of Pepper Home Loans during their successful UK launch.
Andy brings his experience as a senior executive at several leading banks and mortgage companies including Investec, Kensington Mortgages, Rooftop Mortgages, Bear Stearns, NatWest.
Mark brings his experience in the structured finance market where he was a senior executive at companies like Blackstone, Harbourmaster Capital, Bear Stearns, ABN AMRO, NatWest.
